of course, those of you who have gf/bf probably say yes...

however; think a second... it it really love? can teenagers who don't really know what love is, feel love?

would you die if your bf/gf died? like in romeo and juliet, an 'example' of teenaged love?

and also, is it ok to say 'i love you' if all you really feel is like, lust, infatuation, or fondness?

I, being a Christian, believe that God has only one person for each person, and the moment you meet them, you'll realize that they are the one you love. I don't think that you have to date or have "trial and error" to know what love is.. you'll just know. I agree that most of the time it's raging hormones and lust that is making teenagers think they are in love.. but you can like someone to the extent that if there was a breakup, you could be heart broken. Think about it, if you've been that close with someone, you're almost attatched to them..

I think teenagers are capable of falling in love or atleast feeling love. I mean if you think about they do feel love, because of growing up with parents who love them. If they can't love....then they can't say I love you to their parents because then it wouldn't be true now would it?..... Yeah I know that sometimes as teenagers we say we hate our parnets but how many of us really mean it?????

So yes I would say it is freaking possible for a teenage boy/girl to be in love with someone. Feelings are just often mixed up. And yes I am dating someone, but whether I love him or not is none of ya'lls business.......

i cant really answer this question, but i am a teenager...but i have never been/felt like i was in love. i think that teens are capable of it...but couples that experience TRUE love like that are like...one in a millon.

i think romeo and juliet were turely in love, expecially since what happened in the end (i'm not going to say because their may be a few of you don't know yet, and i'm not going to ruin it). but i think teens WAY WAY WAY back then married early, and really saw love for what it was.

...but then again, i've never really been in love before, so don't take my word for it.

well i had a bad.. and i mean horrible childhood and i had no one who truly loved me or ever said, "i love you" to me. when my first boyfriend said "i love you." i was in shock. of course i said i love you too, i was just surprised how fast he said it. probably a week into the relationship, but we were practically best friends before going out.
he is the only person in the world i love. i live with my father.. i don't love him like i love my boyfriend. and this is not a childhood crush. we are both ending highschool soon and college is creeping up. it is just so odd when out of the blue he hugs me so tight and said, "i love you i love you i love you." it is still hard for me to believe that someone actually loves me.

They are capable of it. They just get it confused with infatuation.

honestly to me, and i'm not normally a peccimist (sp??)...but i really don't think most teenagers are capable of it. i know the following sounds like someone's mom, but seriously, i think it's true. I think that their hormones or "sex drive" will cause people to "think" that they're in love..when really..it's just something else...but thats just me, i know that there are exceptions....which is why i said "most"

Eh, teenagers probably don't know what love is really, they either replace it with the word "strongly-like" because it sounds better.
