the ad is a symbol of xangans
if there is no ad on top of our journals, it looks quite strange and funny i did use those removers, but i felt not good keeping them doesn't harm us, but make us clearly what we are doing- using xanga freely....we should remember what the xanga officials have given to us~ |

i agree with trish. lol this was very clever. at first i thought to myself "ad remover? but we never enforced it... micron doesnt approve of that". but then i saw "sign up for xanga premium", and that said it all. haha. nice nice nice...

I totally agree. THe banner never bothered me. I actually click it from time to time. o.O
Actually, we're lucky. So many free sites out there have so much more annoying advertising than just a simple banner at the time of the page. Like multiple popups..Or geocity's little side thing that I always find crashes my old comp. x.x |

I need to get rid of it... the removal code, that is. It came in one of the layouts that I had... but now that I have my own layout (which is kinda screwed up but I don't really care...) I don't mind if the ad is there... I mean, what's it hurting? I've been with free EVERYTHiNG so long that I'm used to banners :P

I wouldn't have a problem with it, if it weren't screwing with my cute Naruto layout by blocking out his hair!!! The amount of revenues we take away is based on how many people visit our sites, and out of those many people how many would even get premium, let alone join Xanga.

haha i wanna join that team late night.
that's how i always code/do layouts&photoshop. i just wait until the last second before i wanted it done /or/ whoever im making it for wanted it. then i make a pizza in the oven, have a cig, and sit until i'm finished. the last layout that i did that gave me any trouble i was in front of my computer for 3 straight days (though i did frequent a smoke break). you can go see it :here:. |

i have the code to remove the banner, but ive become a custom to it, so i just leave it now and take it off everyone now and then, depending on the skin i make.
