I have long hair that I want to keep growing out, but I want to style it. Any suggestions for what I could do so that the style doesn't get messed up as it grows?

Yeh, I know aye! I was like hairstyling in food?!?!?!!?!?!?

You could curl it but not full on, like make it wavy? Not all of ur hair but only having it curly/wavy like 3cm above ur ear..........one of my frds did her hair like that, she looks so pretty!

i have straight hair, but my mom said no way in hell that she would curl it cuz my hair is thin and i got it braided in Bali, so now even thinner and really damaged...but i need like a hair cut that would work, because i can't layer it if i want it to grow. see what i mean?

Oh.......so u want to cut it.............I thought u meant that u did want to cut it but only like to style ur hair................

Here's a site, but not sure if u like it though:
http://www.rasysa.com/pkg/style/

So u hav straight hair, how I envy u!! ^^ I have wavy hair and it always annoys me!! >.< A good start would to get it layered. And then maybe a side fringe or bangs??

Check on google, they got loads~ ^^

if your hair is thin, it wouldnt be the smartest thing tp do - curling your hair, i mean... trust me, you dont want your hair to get thinner. mine did after i had it chemically straightened.

i personally own a curler and a straightener and i think they've been wonderful. it takes u just minutes to come out with stunning and easy to manage hair styles, plus your hair wudn't look all messy. i think the're both really good investments, especially when i've got very long hair. plus u can keep changing your hair styles by playing around with your tools. so you could have dead straight hair today and nice curls tomorrow.

I agree with Sydney about the chopsticks

You can still layer it if you want to grow it out - just make sure the layers aren't steep. That's what I'm doing - I have layers and my hair is growing longer. Anyway, try tapering the bangs on the side with some layers.

Might I suggest Herbal Essences to help your damaged hair? They have specific conditioners for really damaged har. It works wonders.
