i dont know if theres already a topic about this? didnt look further than 5 pages.. anywayy; what do you think about those expensive brands? louis vuitton, prada, christian dior, tiffany etc? do you buy them? are they worth it? or do you buy the knock - off fake ones?
welll; i just came back from china like a month ago, and holy sheet; they have all those knock off brands for so cheap. so i loaded up :) |

eh, I dont buy either. I dont beleive in spending more than 20 dollars on anything. I must say tho, when I'm rich and famous, I'll definately rock some of that stuff. But to me, it just doesnt make sense when u are a broke young adult to buy one pair of shoes for 300 dollars when you can buy like, 30 pair for the same price. Or a 250 dollar purse, when I can get a cute one at claires for 10. its just wasteful. But when u are famous, u wanna buy that stuff because u can be more unique. Big designers dont make a lot of copies of everything, so you can be more original. I'll just have my own fashion line dangit lol.

it's not that they don't make nice things, but they're soo pricey and a lot of times you can find something just as good for much cheaper.
and haha, yeah, china has a crapload of knockoffs! |

The only real designer thing i own (i dont like spending a lot of money on everyday stuff) is a gorgeous versache dress I wore for Miss Teen New york. but only because it was a really really special occasion.

Well I just went to New York this past Spring Break and I got myself a few knock-off lv bags and such.. And I mean I think those brands come up with some really cute stuff.. So that's why I bought the knock off ones. And Tiffany's? Well jewlery is jewlery.. And it's nice to have a variety. But in general, brands don't really matter.. As long as you like it, it's all good

I think a lot of people have the wrong idea about these labels. There's always the 11 year old girl who thinks Gucci, Prada and Fendi are so hot...people get that idea in their head that these brands are so useless, blahblah.
I don't know, if you really look at the designs and whatnot in CURRENT seasons, not just at the "classic" stuff, you can begin to appreciate it...I certainly think it's overpriced, but if I ever had the money, I would go out and buy that Balenciaga bag I've had my eye on since forever. <3 Nicholas Ghesquiere, Marc Jacobs and Alber Elbaz. |

^oh, yeah! This girl in my class who thinks Prada is the shizzit. So she bought like 230982598723489174 prada bags. and each day she'd bring a different prada bag and show it off.
 she's 12, though.I heard from people Hollister is expensive. I shop there anyways.. Some stuff are really cheap. The others are like WHOA WOW, expensive. I buy some of those shirts. My mom pays for it, though. I need her permission.  and you know what's scary? she cares more about how I look than I do.
