i was thinking about getting a tattoo <without my parents knowledge of course>. i saw an orante one around some guy's forearms - i dont know the name of it though. just thought i'd go here before i do anything. http://www.relache.com/body_art/devito/devito_forearm.gif something like that, only horizontal and .. yeah.

Im getting one this weekend on the back of my shoulders. in chinese Grass style Calligraphy, saying "Unique Beauty" i wanted to do something that represented myself in a way. im kinda scared.

wow. that's really cool.
i personally think that some tatoos are very artistic and i see most of them [just not the obscene ones] as symbols of beauty. good luck. though ive never gotten one, im sure that it's not nearly as painful as some people make it out to be. |

I might get one..one day. Nothing major. And nothing like "I LOVE KFJLSDKJFLSKFJ" Because more then likely..It wouldn't last and I'd regret it =/...So anyway, I'm not against tatoos..It's like body art. If I got one, it would need a meaning..and nothing I could possibly regret later.

i would like to get one...still debating. but what scares me is if you dont like it. also im not too sure if i want a tatoo stuck on me permanently for the rest of my life. yea, you could get it taken off but thats a waste of money. i dont want it as much now that im older and more mature. haha.

well... it all depends what you get. If you are a girl and you get this huge dragon on your back.. well then its like.. "ehh" but a cute butterfly or fairy here and there wouldnt hurt would it?

If your going to get a tattoo, get one that has meaning to you and you won't regret it. Don't run out and get some sunflower on your ankle just because you think it's pretty. As far as pain- if you can get braces or a filling done from your dentist, you can deal with a tattoo. Don't worry about the placement of the tattoo according to how painful it "should" be. Everyone is different and if you want it in one place then do it, don't base it on pain because it'll be there the rest of your life.

She's a bit of a redneck. I'm looking for something a little more feminine. My close friend want to all get matching horse shoes so we will all be lucky enough to be friends forever. I'm considering it.
