Where are good places online that you can find stock photos, graphics, etc, that you don't need to worry about copyright infringment and all? There's only so much abstract you can do (lol) AND I just got Photoshop, so now I have the two major picture programs and no graphics to start with. Any suggestions?

yeah, but what do you search for? I mean, if you just want to look through pictures until inspiration hits, you can't just google for "pictures" or you'll be there for the rest of your life blink.gif

By the way, thanks for moving this. I wasn't sure if it would be here or what. biggrin.gif

Well.... you can CREATE your own images instead of getting one to manipulate. I was thinking of deviant art but you would need a permission, i think.

Well, there must be some type of pictures that you want. You can't just be looking for pictures in general. First off, giving credit to images you use is a part of designing. You can't take complete credit of a layout/graphic unless you made it ALL. Everything. From scratch. It's only right. If you use an image from a site on your layout, what's so bad about giving credit? A link back to the site is mostly what you need. Second, googling images on google is not a good idea. People do not notice where they're actually taking the image from. They say it's from Google, but it's NOT. It's from the site that you found on Google. Plus Google doesn't show up with too many nice pictures anyway. You should think of what kind of images you want to make your graphic on, and google for SITES which have those types of images.

^ You have to give credit, and if it's not a stock photo, you have to ask permission. Plus, you can't use the vector for web graphics unless you ask permission for that, even if it is a stock photo.
