I hate overly conceited people. I think I'm okay at times, but I'm not gorgeous. Nobody that I really care about says " I'm so pretty" though, so I guess I don't have to deal with people like that.

You nkow there's something wrong with them when they actually say "I'm so pretty." Or, "Don't I look cute today? Like my new shoes? I totally love my jacket. Don't you think it's pretty?"
...If I like something, I'll compliment you. Don't ask me to do it. I'll do it if I like it. So, basically, if I don't say anything, I probably couldn't care less. Or *gasp* I don't like it. I'm so nice... |

I think I'm the opposite from most of my 'friends who are girls' i regularly tell girls that theyre putting on weight and horrible stuff.
My motto is, 'if you can't bring them down, your not trying hard enough.' But then the people at my college are so overly conceited its unbelievable. |

i hate people who go around saying that THEY look so pretty.
i dont know that many people who do that though... i frequently say im ugly and im fat. i don't expect other people to sympathize. Hey, i have a couple of friends who call me Fatty now. I don't care... |

when be say they are ugly and fat..they are most likely in their teenage years....evevtually they get past that phase....
and the more poeple say they are pretty...the just uglier everyday from what i see |

eh; i look different all the time. alot of times, i look like an old hag; but sometimes; once in awhile, i feel good about the way i look. i know a girl who posts 7485521853 pictures of herself and then goes "gosh i'm so ugly." -___- she was ugly; then she wouldnt post pictures of herself

yeah, that bugs me too. but usually they art right..because they can grab their fat. i always just say you should work out more like me *flex*

i think i am thinking of the firl on west side story.. It's quite annoying when people put themselves down to find compliments elsewhere. I mean, if you need to do that to make yourself feel better, you have something wrong with you. Sometimes I might say I feel ugly one day, but I'm not implying that I think I'm ugly. I just think I'm normal. |

LOL that's so true. That's what I think too. People say "I look ugly" but I know they think "I look damn beautiful". They just want get nice comments to make them more feel better and that person doesn't say like "Oh my gosh, I'm so damn hot!"
It also annoys me when people say "I'm so ugly" (when she's so pretty) It also annoys me when people say "I look so beautiful (when that person is ugly sometimes and very bratty. self-spoiled sometimes) I really agree. But you know what? I have my own self-eestem. I say that I'm pretty to myself. And when someone say "Omg you're so gorgeous and so pretty" I just go like "noo i'm not"... cause like if I say "Yeah I know I'm sooooo gorgeous more like Britney Spears" but still what do they expect me to say when they dont even want to hear that either? it's really confusing. life is confusing actually. So yeah sometimes when people comes to me like if I know them well and they tell me "Susan you're very cute." and i just say "Yeah I'm cute." I just take their compliments and keep it good. Just admit that you're cute even though they think you're a brat, or a snob for saying that. But there's nothing to worry because you're no snob or spoiked...if you ... SORRY to hear that. |
