 click the image for the high res. ok well..i got very frustrated with my last vector so i started on thisss one. I finished and was all "man....im good" and then kris comes along and is like "ms so and so hotshot is entering" and so now ;o; im totally defeated. im going to try and fix some things up before i enter it to lose though like the hands and stuff. |

Holy crap that's awesome.
 Her nails look kinda funky, like there are little balls on the end of them but it's absolutely friggin amazing.

I donno, the star and string doens't look rifhgt to me so ya, take it out...wow, I'm the only one that said that...uhhh, okay...
I think ti's really realyl cool  But I'm not sure how much I like the mini picutres at the top and hte bottom..I donno, maybe they'll grow on me |

don't remove the star, but make it less noticable.....
the fact that it's the same color as the outline really distracts you and instead of having three boxes with the same proportions try making a rectangle that takes the place of two boxes and place it next to one regualr sized box.......... get waht i'm saying? freakin awesome job on everything else Heather..... the eyes look amazing. |

no, i like the star and string. but maybe you should choose a darker shade of white, or a really light gray because it stands out too much.

n please dont, it truely looks so hot, i love ayumi hamasaki, the star on the shirts a little odd, but its suppose to be since the shirts most likely a little "crinkled" ( i dunno the word) up, your vectors are always good!.. is this gradient mesh, or w/e its called, like you did on your kana vector? or is this simply pen tool and fill? its still awesome

Who are you kidding? That is a really beautiful vector and has a very unique style to it. Probably one of my favorite vectors from you. The layout/typography of it is also very nice and that was also one of the criteria for the competition. Don't put yourself down, I truly believe it has a really good shot at winning.
// EDIT I just looked at the high resolution image and notice the odd shapes you used on the face. I don't know if you did that on purpose but it looks strange to me. I would go back and make the shapes smoother on the cheeks and the nose. And maybe the feet too. |

hahhaha..i just got discouraged and ranted a little bit
 thanks thoughwith the skin i actually used three different techniques...i started with the face using very choppy shapes, then he arms and hands using smooher shapes...then the foot (which i really really like how it turned out) i used a technique called "pseudo"...i think that is what its called...and for some rason it just really appeals to me i should go back and redo every thing else besides the foot though >_< |
