No, you don't have to rush it it's your relationship it doesn't have to be set by time limit on when you kiss whenever you feel like you're ready just go for it.

Most the time people have kissed by then...but don't let that get to you. DOn't rush anyhting. Just wait till the right moment, when the chemistry really hits, and it will be fine. An invitation to the movies might help too

Well, there is no "set" date where a couple has to make out. It depends on the couple if they really like each other and are ready. But judging from typical couples I would say after about a month and a half you should make out, but you don't have to, it's really up to you two ;].
