I do that too.

I just blindfold myself and walk through school totally blind so I wouldn't fall in love. 
BUt my teacher made me take it off because I had to take notes. 

LoL Yeah, but love is blind! I was like that after i got so obsessed with this boy, it was out of hand, i got jealous of every girl he talked to. So i kept off boys for quite a while until.... i didn't want to...i culdn't help it.... but this other boy was so incredibly sweet, and I fell in <3 with him. I got out of the boring i hate everything phase, and I was so happy all of a sudden. thats wen I nu that's what was missing. u get hurt, but no pain no gain, eh?

after i broke up with my ex bf cause he called me fat..a b!tch etc. etc. etc. i swore that i would not go out with a guy for the rest of the year..haven't quite broken the promise yet..but i came close..but i guess it depends if he is really great then i guess breaking the vow's alright..right?

Let me share my silly experience.
When I was in elementary (yes, elementary) and middle school.. I had crushes.. maybe a lot too. It was just crushes.. I was probably a little bit obsess with them though. It was just bothersome.. wastes my time thinking about them. When I got into 9th grade. I decided to be crush-free. Maybe it was because I was a lil bit more mature. Then... boom... it hit me. I had a crush on this boy.. After that, I was a lil bit hurt... complicated stuff. After that.. I decided to go back to my crush-free state. It worked for a while until the summer. And so on and so on, now... I'm loving someone. =D

oh..i did that...it lasted for...a little more than a year. pretty good actually..

but yeah... i totally gave up on boys for that period of time. (first year of high school. 9th grade...i thought "okay, im in high school. after this is college and i have to start paying more attention to my education and less on boys. " )

but you get lonely..><;; and if you are me...(i've been crushing on guys since elementary..even as early as kindergarden :o! ) then it's pretty hard. ><;;

cus for me...i was so used to goin to school and looking forward to that one class with him..or lunch so i can see him..or during break so i can meet up with him...or just..anything. it was hard for me to just..go to school and actually go there for...EDUCATION and not for your crush(es).

Why try not to fall in love? I've done that so many times that I've ended up pushing people away that truly cared about me. I've always ended up hurting myself. There are times when you aren't trying to fall in love that you do and don't know it until it hits you like a lead brick in teh face.....so to speak. If you can't fall in love with someone, all the more power to you. Sorry I'm in a relationship righ tnow........which I guess can make my opinion biased. well gotta go.

It's actually nice. After a while, you become dependent on people. "OMIGWASH WILL HE PASS ME IN THE HALL TODAY" "OMIGAWSH HE LOOKED AT ME". And sometimes it becomes just your imagination. That drives me crazy. One day I made this rule that every guy I walked by that was hot, I thought to myself: "I'm independent! I don't need a guy to make me happy! Look away! I don't need anyone" haha how lame. But it worked. That was a good day.

iunnno; its confusing. and plus the guy i was crushing on, was my ex, and i wasnt over him, but he apparently was. and it was really hard, and it hurttt; so this was my only resort. well not really; but the best one i suppose.

but what im doing right now is similar...im trying to fall out of "love" (okay its not really LOVE but more like...i really really like him) with one of my good friends...because he just keeps hurting me for fun...and teasing me. but its really hard to lose the feeling because i see him all the time and stuff.
