It is not very scary at all. Believe me, i've rode on a plane many times before. You just sit there, relax, and enjoy the view outside the window, or on the television screen. The only thing I hate about riding a plane is that my ears hurt, because of the pressure. You can get it if you have colds, especially with a runny nose. Anyway, during your flight, there are "inflight entertainment programs, that takes you to a higher level of inflight entertainment programming guaranteed to heighten your viewing, listening and reading pleasure in the air." Also, meals and beverages are wide range of inflight meals that they offer whether you're in First Class, Business Class or Economic Class. Finally, they will ensure that you may be comfortable and safe to help you travel the healthy and relaxing way. I hope you may have a safe, and enjoyable flight! Good luck! _smile.gif

It's not scary. _smile.gif

Well it depends on how long your plane journey is, if it's a bit long (more than 4 hours), your legs might ache a bit because you have to sit still for such a long time.

This is going to be a real interesting and fun experience for you because it's your first time. I would advise you to listen to the safety briefing before the take off because it is very important. I mean, don't you want to know where your personal floatation device (pfd) is or how to the oxygen masks work.

Depends on the airline, comrade. wink.gif It' not like every airline is Singapore Airlines or Emirates. biggrin.gif In the world of the US commercial airline industry...meals (which used to dreaded by the droves) and in flight entertainment in domestic flights is litterally a luxury considering that the majors are driving down costs to survive. There's a few jewels out there though with the likes of jetBlue, Frontier, America West, etc. cool.gif

Anyhow, I live to fly. Though this may be your first flight, you're at least old enough to remember it. Mine was when I was 2. I've flown around 85,000 miles since 1988 on 7 different airlines to 21 different airports and there have been no scary incidences on any of my flights that would've rattled me back to the ground. The experience is exhilirating especially when the aircraft takes off and lands. biggrin.gif

As with my fellow enthusiast, azn_pnoy_boi, and everyone else, hope you have a safe yet memorable trip. If you need any info and tips on air travel, please PM me. _smile.gif

planes are fine. on my first time i was terrifed, i was putting out negative comments such as what if the plane crashes? i swear, i think my parents wanted to tape up my mouth. I listened to my cd player the whole time, i didnt feel my ears pop. The landing is a bit bumpy though.

i hate planes...i hate it that my parents like to drag me along when we travel, i'd rather stay home -__-

like a lot of people said...it sucks when your ears pop, after i landed i spent like the next few days trying to pop them pinch.gif i think riding a plane is kind of like riding one of those roller coaster type rides. it picks up speed and then it tilts up into the sky and blah blah.

i hate that planes have that new car smell, it always gives me a big headache _dry.gif

be really careful, airplane stuff is sooooo unsanitary. don't use the pillows or blankets they provide. the supplies are always reused even if it's in a plastic bag, they don't really sanitize them either. people do plenty of things with pillows and blankets, they drool on them, sneeze on them, and some people have sex under them. i know it's disgusting but it's true.
