You may want to be a bit more careful with your downloading. I realize sometimes when you're in a hurry you can download things and become unable to locate them later but, avoid yourself the torture. Take the time to make sure you have it saved to the file you want it to go in. In this case BRUSHES

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING BRUSHES WORK

1) download the brush to your brush folder - oftentimes when downloading its a zip on rare occasions its already opened avoiding any further work.

2) locate the brush--right click--open with winzip-make sure you have the intended file, in this case brushes for the particular program you use, specified

also, if you have amassed a collection you may want to keep them in folders. better organization allows you to flip from folder to folder. time can become consumed with scrolling for a million years until you see the brush you want. remember if you do this you must specify the paths for that specific folder.

another thing that i just came up with (last night) is when you download the brushes put a .txt. document within the folder. On the .txt document put the site that you downloaded them from. , make sure you put all other misc. info regarding the brush site specifications for use of their brushes, and make sure you save any link graphics they may have (ex.gifs) in the folder. it avoids any ethics questions and both parties walk away satisfied.

Ok ill get off my box. =]

make sure you download the right brushes for your paint prog.. i meaaan it would be stupid to download psp brushes for photoshop right?

i know for photoshop brushes you can download the brushes into your brushes folder.. but it's in a winzip thing then you have to unzip it first.. aaaand to load them.. open your adobe photoshop.. click on the brush tool, and when you have the brushes window open, click on the blue arrow and go down to "Load Brushes"..

haha sorry that's not really a good tutorial.. but where ever you download your brushes from, they usually have a page that shows you how to load them. and yeaah x_x
