I searched for topics on Image Mapping about my problem, but there doesn't seem to be but if this was already posted, i apoligize.
i went to http://www.pcoward.com/imagemapper and i was up to the part where you select a shape. When i clicked on the image, no shape appeared and a message kept popping up saying "Please select a point on the circumference roughly in line with the centre point". It happens everytime i click on the image. After awhile, it just moves onto the next step, to enter the URL. What am i doing wrong? |

When you select the shape you have to click the top left and botton right of the shape*, a shape doesn't appear, then afterwards two spaces will appear for you to enter the URL of your 'hotspot' and an alt
*for circles, just click the middle of the place where you want the circle |

ohh...ok, now i get it...but...
when i copied and pasted the code the the site gave me, the image became a banner, not a backround. How do i change it so that the image will be a backround on my xanga? |

If you want a background you can't use imagemapping on it, but you CAN have a banner or skin that has it. You'd have to resize your pic which would make it look stretched or you could put it in the 'background' section of your Look and Feel, but like I said before, backgrounds can't have Imagemapping on them
