Don't have one, don't mind having one or not. If it can hold all my books then I'd consider buying it unless there's another brand thats the same quality and cheaper.

i never thought jansport backpacks were fashion accesories (sp?) or anything. i just thought they were pretty durable. peter bought one.. but it seemed really overpriced.

i'm just using this nautica one that i got for $12. it's still holding together. the bottom is really cut up though.

i got a pretty blue 1 that's HUGE w/ 2 full huge compartments for $24 at COSTCO my sophomore year in highschool..

btw, i'm now a 2nd year in college.. HAHAHA..

still using the same 1.. i think i got this 1 all those years back cuz my old backpack was just too small to carry all my books.. and come on.. $24 at COSTCO?!? that's a good deal! unless u get backpacks for free which i know some lucky people do..

and it's huge! it carries EVERYTHING!! i'm still amazed at how i can just stuff my backpack til this day!! when i go on vacations i use it too! i mean, it's just so wonderfully big and useful!!

most people at my school dont really even carry acutal backpacks. we carry those small bags with the drawstring...damn i cant explain it but stores like footlocker have them
*

I know exactly what you mean. I used to have one of those, but mine ripped.

Anyways, back on topic. I don't have a Jansport backpack, but I don't see what's the big deal. They're just like every other backpack. Sure, they have good quality and all, but you don't have to make a big fuss out of it. Jeez.

Yep. The one I have is a black superbreak Jansport that I've had since 9th grade lol. And I had a aqua-blue/teal one back in 8th-9th grade until I got the black one. I like how it's only two pockets and it's not expensive.

yeah i have a jansport, i went through...about...8 other backpacks in 3 months before i got it. its actually quite durable and the one i have is very big, and i can ACTUALLY fit all my books into it.

edit //
but really, its not EXTREMELY special or anything. nothing to really show off...

yep..i like the spring break ones cuz like they dont make ur bag stick out and hit everyone. lol. but the fabric soft ones arent really that good quality, because i got mine during the second part of the school year and theres a little hole in it on the bottom. ><
