I'm really frustrated that I haven't been able to see it yet! mad.gif My mom and my sister saw it and my sister than into my room and started checking my wrists. Shoulda looked on the legs and shoulder. shifty.gif Since then I've straightened up. No sense in hurting myself when so many people can do it for me.

So I finished it a few hours ago.
It was very good, I must say.
I can relate to it.
Well, minus the drugs and sex, anyway. :P

I don't think this is a movie for a 13 year old to watch.

It films a life of a 13 year old from the worst case scenario. This isn't a good thing for 13 year olds to see. At that age you're growing and being influence easily. This movie opens up a lot of issue I wouldn't want my 13 year old to think about.

Sex at 13? That's wrong no matter how you put it.

I did think the actors and actresses were quite good though. =)

Actually I saw thirteen. its an incredibly good movie. It was a whirlwind, but at the same time, I know lots of girls who were going thru things like that. It really gives a lot of insight into what some people are going thru. Its something I think all teenage girls should watch. It makes quite an impact.

Oh and about teh merry go round? She had done all of these crazy adult thing. She basically went frmo a normal innocent girl to a very naughty one. She tried to grow up too quick. So that was kinda likea freedom. Like going back and becoming a child again. I love that movie.

It was good, but pretty sick. When they were punching each other in the beginning, I knew this was a seriously disturbed movie. But still good.

if you want to see a movie that really depicts the gritty life of many American teens check this one out: Kids

It was made in 1995 and was shown at the Sundance Festival.
