That happened to me once. I was trying to get it from my old computer to my laptop. If you make any copies of Photoshop it doesn't work, etc. Basically if you pirate it from another copy, etc, it won't work.

Clear out some uneeded files on your comp.
Your Photoshop may not have enough memory space to even start. -shrug- Not that I can talk... I eat up all my memory wth music files.

Scan disks is when you have TOO much stuff on your computer. Which means you either need to delete some of your files or you need to clean your WHOLE computer. Scan disks can also be full when you have TOO many photoshop windows open.

Scan disks are full when your Photoshop is using too much memory. It can't be that because her Photoshop doesn't even open and at default, the preference is a reasonable amount of space for the scan disk.
Are you sure you're clicking on the application? The one that ends with a .exe? Sorry, I know it's a stupid question.

Reformat your computer.
This is on the assumption that you got Photoshop legally.... You would install it again trough the disk.

I figured as much. Your Photoshop won't open because the activation code for the disk has already been used. I believe that you can't use the disk more than once....

Your computer probably can't take it..

I used to get that message. But what happened was that Photoshop still opened, I just got that message whenever I opened. Then I just set the preferences to default. The Scratch Disk has to do with the amount of memory that Photoshop can use while it is open.
