I am so embarrass because in a few months I am turning 23 in July. Well lets just say that is where u kind of get your life straight or on the right direction... For almost about 6 years I've hadn't had a real job... Most of my jobs were through promotional events traveling and side jobs doing all the talent things.. but now It's all about going to school and finding that day by day job that everyone lives by. What should I do or where should I start off at???

When you get money, have a set budget....Don't blow money on shit you don't need to survive. Be confident and make set goals for yourself, and stop at nothing to accomplish them. If you go by that, it's possible.

I guess you should, first of all, make sure you have all the education you need to live on your own....

Well you could start off by going to all your local places and finding a job. Somewhere in office max, staples, compusa, borders. Or whatever you're good at. I don't really understand your question, though

1st: put the link to your xanga in your sig. wink.gif kthx.
2nd: life does not revolve around a job. i say you focus on school right now, and near the end of school, figure out what you want to do for a living and start planning.

....but i don't always give the best advice. do what feels right for you.

You should...think about what your best attributes are and decided from there what you want to pursue.

Think about what you've always wanted to do and pursue that. flowers.gif
For now...I think you should focus on school instead of focusing on finding a part time job. Don't worry...I'm sure you'll find out which job is right for you sooner or later... happy.gif

Yeah, first start with something simple maybe? Then work off that and into finding a job you're good at or at something you enjoy doing. happy.gif

23!!! wow your one of the oldest on cb...now I dont feel so old...I'm 20. Anyways, employment centers help people like you who do know where to start looking for a job. I went to one myself over the summer and they found me a job that day. So you try that out

Concentrate more on school, and maybe take up a part time job. When you're done with school, that's when to climb up more on the business/economy ladder.

Oh, and don't spend money on things you really don't need!

you can first work at an easy job [cashier, mcdonalds worker, etc] and go to school at the same time. like have a day job and go to school at night. study the subjects you like. then when you finish your schooling, you can start applying for the jobs you're intersted in (:
for example: i like children right? so i could become a teacher. =P

hmm, i started working when i was 15. i mean, those side jobs and other things should count as working experience in the work field. those vocational hobbies should help you get into an intermediate job instead of staples or officemax. try different places, i'd say apply to five jobs at once. you can always reject them. just think of it as applying to college (if you remember).

Well, first you have to think about what you're good at.
Find a job that suits you and work your way up. =]
