i searched and didnt find a topic on this so:

Do you think it is slutty for girls to carry condoms or means of sexual protection ? Because if guys do it, they are ready and responsible. If girls do it they are sluts.
What is your opinion on this ?

I myself do not think it is slutty. I always have a condom or two on me, whether in my backpack/purse/pocket.

It's a major double standard. Good for guys not for girls. I think it's fine for girls to carry condoms

I don't think it's slutty, hey a girls got needs too, anyways, it's kinda bad to keep them in your pocket and wallet anyways, but I don't carry them around because me and my bf have some in storage at each of our houses, so we are fine.

u know, if you are serious, thats really closed minded. People have sex without f*cking every person they see. Just because they are carrying around a condom, doesnt mean they are gonna use it on the first available d*ck they come across.

I mean, think of it this way. If you are going over to a friends house, and you brought an extra outfit in case you went out of ended up spending the nite...thats being prepared right? Well with a condom its the same thing. it doesnt automatically mean you are ready to sleep with anyone who will do it. Besides, most people wont even know you have one around unless they go thru your purse or you tell them.

And if you arent serious, well, thats my argument for anyone who does think its slutty. Even tho I really hate going and buying condoms cuz people look at me like I'm a slut. But they can do that cuz I've been with my boyfriend for 3 years, we can do it if we want dammit. hahaha

Well people should, i dont think anyone under 16 should though, they shouldnt be sleeping with people at that age, i dont carry them because i have no need to, my boyfriend lives in Spain, its not like hes just going to come to the uk to sleep with me [that sounds strange but oh well]

i think it's guy's responsiblitly to carry the condom but guys sometimes they don't like to play it safe....so the girls have to carry it..so they don't really look like sluts

wow. very well said. And you make a good point, a lot of people who arent sexually active think people who are sexually active are sluts. even without carrying around a condom.

there is a difference between carrying them to be safe and prepared, and advertising that you carry them. you dont need to wear a pin which says 'i have condoms on me, ask me who im doing'

No, it doesn't make them slutty. If they're already sexually active, then it just means that they are responsible.

if a slut carries around a condom that makes them a safe slut
if a non-slut carries around a condom that makes them a safe non-slut

No, either by the bed or in the wallet. Ha ha I remember my mates carrying them when they were 13 and they're still virgins. Amusing at the least.
Oh yeah, in this world of AIDS, syphillis etc. I'd personally slap anyone who did not use a condom. It's like spitting in the eye of every one of the countless thousands that have died horrifically from an STD.
On the catholic side, I would preach no sex before marriage, but that's not going to happen.
