no, it requires the .NET framework, which cannot be installed on Macs.

Microsoft did not create this, unless I am mistaken (i've recommended this program before to many people as an alternative to photoshop, and I'm pretty sure microsoft did not make this). I'll change the title.

edit: in my opinion, the gimp is better.

yeah microsoft didnt create it. university of Washington students made it. but microsoft helped release it.

it maybe a Photoshop knockoff but have you ever used GimpShop? THat has everything like photoshop. and besides whats wrong with a knockoff?

How is gimpshop? I haven't compiled it for windows.

gimpShop is confusing all that changes from Gimp to Gimpshop is the File, Plugins and other stuff bars everything else stays. and i run it on Linspire five-0 it took some time to get it from an rpm to a deb

eh, i think i'll stick with GIMP for now because im satisfied with it as a free program at the moment.

it looks nice, though. i might try it out sometime.
