I know there are quite an amount of people on CB who aren't 13 yet.
I'm not one of them.

There is a same problem on xanga... it says you need to be 13 to join, but a lot of people aren't of the age yet. _dry.gif

1. you can act better then your age and people cant tell much.
2. cB should have 8th grade history and science questions to see if that person is legal to use the website. Not only that, you should already know the answer to the question.

For #2, I don't think it would be fair to those not living in the US because people learn different things in different places. Plus, there are smart kids who know everything.

That is a lame suggestion...remember we don't live in same countries, like niez cho said, people live in different countries and learn different things.
I used to be a mod on an invision forum and it got shut down because a boy was 12 years old...i still think cB should have an age verifier, even though people lie, it covers our butt...we wouldn't be held responsible for whatever...

he's right... if people lie, it's not your fault. if you dont give them the opportunity to tell the truth, then it is your problem...

Exactly.... you can't possibly be sure of everyone's age

That's actually a good idea. You would have to be 14-whatever to sign up for stuff. Cool. =]

Anyone could lie and make their birthdate different.

So the bunch of 12 and under kids we have on here are able to get arrested because we're on a website? Hm. I guess that works for a lot of you. I'm probably ultra annoying to a lot of people on this site. It's really not my intent, though.
