An easier way than what? What tutorial are you using, or what method?

well i don't think theres any shorcuts to vectoring.. unless you fake vector your image.. but you could find vectoring tutorials at our cB tutorials

There are a couple good ones in the Big Book of Resources. They're in their own category, so keep an eye out for them =)

Yeah, try www.cuntastic.org. Her vector tutorial, or you can try any of the other ones listed in the Big Book of Resources. The category they are under is like, "Photoshop Vexel Tutorials" or something like that.

No it's not. If it's made in Illustrator, it's a vector; if it's made in Photoshop, it's a vexel. Have you looked at the tutorials and the vectors/vexels in the Pictures forum? You'll probably get the idea after looking at some of them.

that image is not a vector. Someone applied some filter to it. Probaly something to do with brush strokes. check in there. But thats not a vector. this is a vector. a vector is made using illustrator, or other vector based progra.s A vexel is made in raster based programs, but they mock the look and properties of a vector, just in the end they are different. what you have there in that picture is a blend of some sort. Someone took a picture and threw some effects on it. Got it? :D hope so.

The instructions must still be there though. Anyway, using a fake vector tutorial makes the image and you look bad.
