wtf is this noise ??

when i'm using my mic to record something on my computer, there's this .. weird noise when there is silence. i've recorded it .. here have a listen. [[ this is what tha mic recorded during silence, and i'm wondering what it is ]]

do you think it's just tha sound of my computer's fan ?? .. if it is, how can it be .. because my friend's computers dont do this .. O.o


edit \\ and do you think there is any way to get rid of tha noise ?

did you disable all the other channels but "microphone" when you started recording?

^ Yeah, other channels usually can cause that noise. Go to the sound properties.

ohhh hey mods close this topic i found out tha problem ..


it seems that my webcam was plugged in .. and it has a REALLY cheesy recorder in it .. it picks up EVERY SINGLE SOUND .. so basically it was on while my mic was on .. and indeed it was picking up my computer's fan .. so .. yeah

problem solved, close topic please =]
