can you tell the difference between, flirting or just talking to a guy? |

i remember one time i was just hanging out with my friends.. and i was talking with one of my guy friends (we'll just say his name is brian)....then when most of the people left and it was just me and one of my girl pals were still there, she was like were you flirting with Brian? I was like no i was just only talkin to him. She looked at me like "i know u were flirting" kind of look. I was just talking to the guy and had no intention of flirting with him.
does that happen to u .. like ur friends were like ur flirting and u have to tell them it was just nothing... and how can someone tell the difference between flirting and just talking. |

well it depends on the person..if you're normally shy and you talk a lot then maybe it's flirting? i don't know..it really depends on you.

Happens to me all the time. I'm NOT a flirt. But I have all these guy friends and I joke around with them.. they hug me sometimes, and it just gets taken wrong.. uck.

Well, it's kind of hard to tell sometimes when a girl talks to a guy non-romantically. You were probably acting very friendly, but that's how some girls flirt. Most girls "joke around" with their guy friends, but to someone watching, who doesn't know that they're just friends, it can look pretty flirty...

i cant really tell the difference. i've had people come up to me and ask if i was flirting. i think when i get in a really good mood im just happy around everyone cuz im not a flirt. me and my friends are a pretty close group and we all hug but it never goes past that trust me! i guess theres a fine line between flirting and being friendly but i sometimes have a hard time finding it!

I can't tell what I do either. o_O I remember going to this theme park with my friend, and at the end she as like, "Oh, were you flirting with my cousin??" I'm like, "What?! No.".. I guess it's just how I act? >_<

Well what I think is that if you laugh in a cute way or give that look of showing your cute side toward him or your sexy look. That's what I call flirtatious. Maybe your friend didn't really know what flirting means?

That happens all the time. Maybe its because I used to be really shy, but now I talk a lot and people think that means that if I all of a sudden talk to a guy I'm in love with him or something. I actually find it kind of funny.

Well, i have 2 friends that flirt all the time, they dont' actually realize they're doing it, but they do. and When i bring it to their attention, they were like, I wasn't. I dont even like him/her... and im like u so were!
