Question on where to put a code, statcounter thing

What do they mean by putting the code after <body> tag and before </body> tag?

it means that its part of the body section like you will see <style CODE GOES HERE </style> yoo willl see a lot of thos when you make xanga skins.. So just go like this

CODE
<body>CODE GOES HERE</blody>
it mean u start out as a body:<body> and end in it too </body>

hope that made sense

ooooooooo, so no wonder why most of the codes that said to put it after <body> and before </body> didn't work me me? thanks but just making sure, you need to type

<body>then code goes here</body>

......... Bejabbers. If you're going to do that, you'd have to code the entire page.... o.O All you'd have to do is put it first in custom header usually.

^^ Yeah. Just in custom header. Or the other one. Uhm..Website Stats area. Especially if it's a counter like in your subject title. o.O I've never had to use the <body> tags. It's normally only used for editing webpages that aren't already coded. Like if you had your own personal one..without..xanga..o.o'

coolCounters, Ok Counter, or Site Meter are just a few that I have seen around.
