aye i got a problem, about my life at school. see i use to date this girl right? than a few weeks like 2-or 4 she broke it off with me right. so we were only juss friends, than i started to remember the good times we had, and yeah we became good friends than sooner or later she thought i kepted staring at her like i was gonna rape her which im not. than we barely even talk to each other everytime, we go to opposite directions, she looks in the other way when i see her. she like moves somewhere else everytime i get near her when im tryin not to. i even try to to talk to her about subjects but she like juss says like "ok, whatever". what can i do to become friends again, i dont wanna be strangers, i juss wanna be friends.

It takes time to be friends after breaking up...there's always the awkwardness factor in it. Me and my ex broke up about 3 months ago, and we haven't talked much either. It takes time, don't rush things, just let whatever happens happen naturally.

okay, well this is what i learned from my experiences because i used to be in the same situation you are. anyways, when this happened to me, i didn`t do anything and me and my ex started to drift farther and farther apart. then, i realized that i should be more open. so, it was hard to act as if nothing happened, but it was worth it. it took awhile, but now we`re best friends. so, what i`m saying what you should do is that you should try to be friends again; don`t ignore it.

"distance makes the heart grow fonder" me and my friend were so close it was unbelievable - eventually we grew sick of each other.. but then me and him took a break for a lil bit, and now i love him as much as he loves me =) space sometimes is the answer. she'll see how much she misses u.

i know how u feel. but all girls a differnt. cause with one of my ex's i just tried to get a little distance and then after awhile i started to talk to her. well yeah that worked better then the one when i just tried to talk to her as if we were still friends after the break up. and now that one girl thinks im like stalking her but i kind of live far away and i haven't even seen her in like 5 months. but yeah they are all differnt.

awww .. well this happened to me a couple of months ago. my ex didn't want anything to do with me after we broke up but i finally had the guts to ask him "why are u ignorin me" and he just didn't have a reason so now we're like best friends. so maybe u should go up to her and ask her why she's been ignorin u. like these other ppl have said don't ignore the situation do something about it.

Hmm.. reminds me of the situation I'm currently in with my ex. We barely dated (actually, I don't even consider him my ex, since it could hardly be considered a relationship, but still) and now I avoid him. Why? He's incredibly annoying and I can't stand him.
So... I say confront her, and maybe you'll be good friends again. If not, then you need to move on. |

my ex didn't talk to me fo like 6 month, then I called her juz to say hi .. then she started callin me and everythin... BUT she's the one who cheated on me, so I just took everything lightly and not pay too much attention on her//answer her every phone call... so yeah... take everything easy... you dont want her to see you all frikin desperate just to be friends with her... she'll get big headed... you know you're fine without her... so be it... :D billsta~ |

My bf is in the same situation. He was w/ his ex for a while, and then she ignored him for maybe 3 months before they broke it off officially. She's dating his best friend and it's akward for me to just sit there while she's trying to kill him.
I suggest maybe you should just start little. Say hi or something when you walk past each other. If after a while and you're being nice to her yet she still doesn't want to really talk, maybe she just doesn't want to be your friend anymore. My bf's ex doesn't want anything to do w/ him. So yeah, it could be complicated. |
