Text placing help!, Cant place the text in the right spots!

I just did my first xanga skin for myself and i cant place the text in the right places. ive played around with it for a while and Cant seem to get it right.


Plus I cant figure out why the repeat is off from the original background...its the same EXACT size! Gr! Thanks in advance everyone!

I'm assuming you need divs because the navigation and blog are below the image right?

You have to find out the height and width of the text box on the images and use this code to move that box around on top of the image. You position it by changing the numbers for margin-top and margin-left. It might take a while to position it correctly. You can also use negative numbers if positive one do not work. I don't see a background for some reason.

When you're using a background, the background is placed slightly off-set to the image, and you have to use a div layer to pull the image over by about eight-ish pixels. Usually anyways. -shrug-

im so confused... here is my crazy code, i used this from another skin's code since I didnt know what I was doing, we have the same type of boxes in the same places...

blog on left, navigation and etc. on right:
