...when you have a boyfriend, but didnt tell your mom.....after a month with him, your mom starts to talk to you about having boyfriends...she said "promise me you won't have a boyfriend after high school ok?" and you reply "promise"...but dont forget you still have a boyfriend..what would you do?

Tell the truth
You shouldn't have said "promise" in the first place. You should've either told her about your b/f then or when you first started dating. You shouldn't keep it a secret. |

first of all, you shouldn't have promised! but now that it's done, I'd probably keep quiet about it,until you guys are in a really stable relationship, and sit down with your mom and talk to her about it calmly

i would probably lie about the promise like you did. because if you think of it, your mom is being way too crazy if you can't have a boyfriend. thats just way too stupid. how would you feel without a boyfriend? a little lonely,right? that would kinda suck being lonely for most of your childhood. you want to make the best of these years. blah blah blah thats all i got to say.

Tell her the truth, hide it if you can help it, but if you can't, just tell her that your really happy with him, and tell her how great he is, and say if she met him she would like him, and tell her that you just were happy and were afraid to tell her because you didn't jeoperdize your happyness to please her. Be blunt about it.
