Yes, congratualations to him! I think his name is Joseph something... but his name as pope is Pope Bennedict the VI...? I heard that he's German. I'm very unsure.

im starting to think he will be a good pope ...i mean ....his views can change from time to time ...and he was a reccomendation of John Paul II ....and was his "right hand" man .....most likely his views will be as similar as Pope John Paul II .......
...oo and popes get there names by previous succesors and their views and impacts ..... Joseph Ratzinger took the name of Benidict because he favored to have unity and peace at harsh times ....this man is too complex....hopefully this mad does the job .

i think i personally liked the old pope better (pope john paul II)
the new pope (benedict XVI) seems kinda scary looking and unleader-like. the old pope (JP2) had more a warmer, loving look. i think he will die soon, 78 is pretty old within like 10 years and then it will be like this all over again. but i find it interesting |

I didn't watch the news, but now I know, man that guys is old, very odd choice, I think that theres going to be corruption for some odd reason, especially when they chose that one guy to speak at the popes wake/burial (can't remember) that was involved with the child molestation scandal...
