ok so my friend wanted me to do her a favor. The favor was to add songs onto her ipod.. and i was like no problem... So she has a blue ipod mini that hold 4 GB. When i connected to the usb port it wouldnt add the songs.. Itunes wouldn't pop up either. So i try re-installing the itunes program.. and i even typed in the cd key for the ipod on the back.. and i install it but still the same problems.. so any ipod pro's can help me?

it works fine for my ipod but not my friends..

any help will be appreciated blink.gif

itunes doesn't allow more than one ipod.

in addition, if you do manage to get itunes to recognize your friend's ipod, it will delete all her songs.

if you insist on adding those songs to her ipod, then you must us other software; not itunes.

Worked fine for me. I just plugged in my ipod and opened up iTunes. Then i set the ipod to "manually update ipod". I don't know why yours wouldn't work..

I think I know whats wrong..When you install the software for your ipod on one computer, the ipod will only read the software from that computer. So you can't swap ipods or nething, It needs its home computer and the original place where the program was installed. If not, then it won't work. I have an ipod and i remember reading it somewhere and thinking it was the stupidest thing, lol.
