i'll be away next week for our international badminton tournament.
 i know since sports is a huge thing in the states, do any of you who do sports travel outside of state for games or huge competitions or such? |

I used too. Like last year we were invited to a tournament all the way in NY. Sad to say, we didn't do too well... we made it through the preliminaries, but after that we got knocked off first round ~_~

my tennis teams only travels throughout the state but my sister's drill team traveled to oklahoma once.

They go a lot of places!  I wasn't in cheerleading long enough to travel to any tournaments, but in volleyball, we might've went to another school! Uh, some hockey teams go to Lake Place, NH for tournaments.
And there's a lot of soccer/softball/baseball/basketball travel teams who play other towns. |

we went to new york for a band competition in new york (well, new jersey) this weekend
not that that was a sport. we didnt even march, just play. oh well, you get the point |

We have cheerleading competitions. For outside competition, you often travel to otehr states..but next year if I do my HS comp. squad it will only be around GA =/ no fun.
