my computer doesn't have powerpoint, but I need it for a project. Does anyone know where I can go to download it?

it can make powerpoints. for free.

you could try buying it. You can go to a store and get the student version of ms office for like 70% off the regular proce, and its the same exact thing. Its better to have power point, then to get it for 30 days and need it again later. At least, thats my opinion.

i agree i would think its better if you buy it because you dont know how many other projects you may need powerpoint for .

SAVE YOUR MONEY, GO TO WWW.OPENOFFICE.ORG

it's a free software that does everything microsoft office does, and more.

i use it and vouch for it- no spyware, adware, maleware, etc.

the site geographically closest to you. it doesn't really matter, but it makes it a faster download, as the data has to be downloaded from that server located there.

kryo, you're sig says 1.0... Open Office is at 1.9.79 a.k.a 2.0 beta...

don't you think it's time to update that linky?

Well, latest stable release is 1.1, so I'm not that far off. But, I guess my sig could use a new image.
