shes okay, i have nothing against her as a person. however the hell she wants to dress, its not like its any of my business.
her music is okay too, but i like an extremely wide genre of music so i like almost anything i listen to. |

I met her. Shes a brat. She was at a concert at six flags, cut in front of me in line on a ride, and had a hat that said f*ck off!! and was flippin off all the little girls who nearly wet their pant wehen they saw her. I think thats awful cuz she has the nerve to say shes a better role model for kids cuz she doesnt run around showing her stomach. Id rather see britney spears stomach that avril any day. And she kept cussing and most of the crowd at the concert were under 10 years old. bad example.

eh...she sort of annoys me [sorry to all of the avril fans,really]. i did hear that whole "started out as a country singer" thing. i think if she really was a country singer to begin with, she should have stayed with it. if she forces heself to be somthing that she's not, then she'll never be happy.
plus, her songs are a tad bit annoying. |

well i do like her songs...she has come to Hongkong once and held a concert here, and i watched that concert...she has her own style, but one thing disappointed me is that she had little interaction with the audience...just sang and sang on the stage but in general she is okay!

i can't stand her. she thinks her music is punk...even though its pop and country. she only knows about two chords on the guitar,and just uses it as an accessory.it makes it difficult for girls that can actually play the guitar and sing to be taken seriously. she calls herself a skater punk,but the only trick she claims to know is an ollie. she's rude to fans. i mean really, she should be grateful all those kids look up to her..if an artist doesnt have fans...they wont be as successful. shes not unique at all..her record comany changed her completly, before she was famous, she was a cheerleader,and sang country music. she doesnt write her own songs even though she says she does. she co-wrote them. that means all she had to do was add one or two simple words, and they would have had to give her credit, she compared herself to sid vicious,but she actually said she's never heard of the sex pistols. she also compared herself to kurt cobain,and hasnt heard of nirvana. shes arrogant and all she does is diss famous people who are better than her. also she thinks the whole tie thing is so unique..but lots of girls wore ties before she did such as britney spears, spice girls,and gwen stefani just to name a few

I look at society today and shake my head. Avril started this trend. Now preppy teenage girls are starting to wear Chucks, wearing so called 'punk clothes', and call the crap they're listening to punk rock. This is not punk rock. This is shit rock. She has opened a window to those who just want to follow trends and not be themselves. These include the tie, my, how famous that is. And you know what's interesting? Real rockers don't really wear ties. Usually, its the wanna-be's hobbies. Us rockers would wear them but we don't want to look like wanna-bes. Thank you, Avril. Sigh. What is the world coming to? |
