Immortal Technique's flow is wack but I like some of his rhymes... he's not that technical of a rhymer though...... actually, the best part of that song is when Diabolic (white du' from the Bronx or Brooklyn - forget which - comes in and massacres a sick beat).....  Dance with the Devil's aight though
*

I Agree with the stuff about I.T. and The diabolic part is my favorite... That's probably the only reason I like the song.. also because of the story it tells, which is really well told..

Also..

Nas - Nas Is Like
Biggie - Juicy
Biggie - Dead Wrong
Tupac - I Ain't Mad At Cha
Tupac - Hail Mary
Tupac - Dear Mama
KRS One - Rapture/Step Into A World or something like that lol
Onyx - Slam
Onyx - Last Dayz

yeah .. nas' beats are simple .. but pretty good .. like Got Yourself A Gun .. that's a tight beat .. but he doesn't need a tight beat to set tracks on fire ..

When you can turn something into nothing thats when you know you have talent.

I like NAS's Virgo beat because Its Doug E. Fresh making a beat with his mouth and no special equipment.

well if u put it that way, yeah fine, beats arnt everything, i put sum of 50's beats as rap-pop, so what ur saying is jason, that u'd just listen to 50 cents beats, well technically they not his most lieky dre or sum1 esle made em, and u'd rather listen to the beats and that judges a rapper? heh

lean back? nah lil jon, and ma$e n em dont mix real well to me, great song, just dont have a clue why em or ma$e did it, but yeah the beat was ok, so thats not a good example, infact i cant think of any rap that has a corny beat with good lyrics

Three more:
Mobb Deep + Shook Ones Pt. 2
Mobb Deep + Thug Muzik

Anything by Mos Def

Tao of Now - Saul Williams, its more spoken word, but rap is basically poetry.
Notice Me - NB Ridaz Ft. Angelina, i know what i like, and this i like =]
Corners - Common, The Last Poets do some good spoken word on this track
Kanye West - All Falls Down, kinda old, but i still like

umm..that's all for now..
