The written words of a writer is kind of like a smile in many ways ....

You may look at a smile, and see a smile . Simply a facial expression on her face . You never take the time to think of whats behind her grin . You assume she's happy . After all, why would she be smiling if she weren't happy, right ? Wrong .

When you read a story , you read it . That much is obvious . You think you understand it, but do you really ? Do you sense the meaning behind the words she writes . Can you feel her tears on your own face ? Can you hear her heart breaking, as if it were your own ?

Every word in her stories drips with meaning . It is a shame only a few people can catch these droplets on their thirsty tongue . Every word posesses so much emotion, that when she's done writing, all she can do is lay down and fall into a deep slumber , unaware that her eyes are red from frustration, her face moist from tears, her body bruised and scratched .

Some words make her angry . They make her want to yell in frustration, pull her hair out, yell obscene words . Why ? Because every word seeps with the truth, just like every cut seeps with dark pure blood. She thought that hiding from the truth would make her feel better, but really, they only made her hurt increase .

There were some words that made her want to cry . They held so many memories , it made her heart lighter whenever she wrote them down . Every word she wrote, was like every memory lifted from her mind . She cried, because she didnt want to let go of these memories . She cried because she thought they were hers to keep, when really ... they werent . She had to let them go . That, or die of grief .

And then there were words that made her feel pain . Those words were the words that felt like they were tearing into her heart . Each word dripping with blood . Whenever she told stories using these words, it felt as if she were being kicked, punched, tortured and abused ; battered and bruised . Each word knocked out of her until she was lying on the floor, gasping for breath . These were the kind of stories she liked to tell best .
