does the search button really work? because people keep saying " use the search button " its very annoying because when you try to search something it doesnt give you what you need..then when you post a topic about it .. you get these people complaining saying " use the search button " im sure that there are many topics that the " search button " has..but i dont see those topics being shut down...

is there a rant forum in createblog?

well type in the words that you think might be in the topic or the title, and be prepared to read through a couple of pages of results

...what are you talking about?

Why wouldn't the search button work? Of course if gives you the topics you're looking for. Granted, not all of them, since some people don't give their topics relevant titles.

If you really want to narrow your search down to topics, type in a search word and choose "search titles only" where it says "search where".

Okay, let's get something straight. The search button on CREATEBLOG lets you search for topics or posts members made in CREATEBLOG. The search button DOES NOT have the ability to search throughout the entire web for answers to your problems, like Google.

most of the time that's not the case.
just search for the main words, if you can't find it, then go ahead and post.

The search button works a lot and is real helpful.
Remember when searching, use keywords of what you are searching for because the search engine looks for the words that you typed in through various posts and topic titles.

The first time I used it, it didn't work, but that's because I entered the words in wrong. I just put 'word word' I didn't know you had to have '+word +word' if you use 2 keywords happy.gif

when we go and post... tweeak alwayzs goes and says " use the search button " and then close it...maybe it would be a good idea if the moderator who says " use the search button " would give us a topic on it

yes it works fine. maybe you should search under a variety of words on the same topic. and OF COURSE only one or 2 are the ones you want, because duplicate topics are not allowed.

and i agree with imafreakinazn. billiejoe flossing is definately not hot.
