i dont want anyone quoting this post and telling me i'm stupid.

too bad.

i'm not into politics, but i was born in texas and lived there for a long time...mor than half my life.  my dads side of the family is pretty wealthy and has a reputation, and the bush family has been our friends since bfore i was born.  all i know is that he is really nice and u just need to get to know the other side of him...the non politic side. 

he's our president. OF COURSE WE HAVE TO CARE ABOUT THE POLITICAL SIDE! he could be the nicest guy in the world, but if he makes decisions i don't agree with i'm not going to like him.

 
everyone is saying he sucks, but reality chek... HE WON!.... that means the majority thinks he's great....

that means the majority thinks he was the best candidate. it doesn't mean they love him. it's really conservative where i live, and a lot of people said they voted for him just because they thought it was his job to deal with the iraq war. that doesn't mean they thought he was great. plus, he only recieved... 51% of the vote (i just woke up and my brain is failing me for the exact figure)? even though that IS majority, that still means there's still a good percentage that didn't think he was the best candidate.

we don't have to know him to see whether we disagree with his actions. you can think someone is bad or incapable just by viewing what actions he takes... for exmaple, you probably thought sadaam was a bad man, right? which is one of the reasons why we should have gone to war with iraq? but did you MEET him? did you KNOW him? no, but you still thought he was a bad man because of his actions.

Lemme give my reasoning, however cynical:
The reason we don't do a damn thing about North Korea is 'cause they're allies with China, who makes all our crap for us. If we went into North Korea, there's a pretty high chance that either China would cut off all trade with the U.S. or there could be nuclear warfare. Either way, the U.S. wouldn't have ANYTHING.

But Bush went into Iraq because they've got shitloads of oil, and he's pretty buddy-buddy with the Saudi royal family, so he knows he's good there. He also knows Mr. d**k Cheney has close ties with Halliburton, an oil company, so he can land 'em an easy contract. He makes millions, they make millions. It's a win-win deal. But what about Afghanistan? Bitch, please, they don't have squat! At least that's what Karl Rove says. Honestly, you think Bush has the brains to do something like this? His bitches tried everything to garner support for his little war, and now more than half of the entire U.S. thinks this little war is completely pointless. On top of that, entire continents hate our asses, no thanks to this contemptible SOB.

It's okay, I answer the title of the topic in many forums, too, but one of the rules in the debate forum is that you, at least, have read some previous comments to prevent repetition in arguments, and spam.

Now then, it is not useless as you may think if you look at the "could have's" in a different light. What I had in mind was simple, lets take lunch as an example. I tell you that I want a burger so I bought one. As a healthy eater you would suggest that I get a salad instead.

See, you don't just complain about my eating bad foods, you suggest a better alternative.

That's the challenge that I'm talking about. Instead of saying, you eat bad food and leave it there, you complain and give me a better choice.

Even though Bush has already done all these things, you can still complain but the least you can do is think of something better.

Anyone can complain. The difference between anyone, and someone, is the offer of an alternative.
