my mom loves coffee and she puts it in the freezer because it is supposed to keep it fresh for a longer period of time. whistling.gif

My dad's the only coffee-drinker in the house.
I don't think he does that though...I think my ex used to do that though.

Yea but they only did that ones...I think we bought a different kind of coffee and they put it in the freezer..but i dont know why.

I only freeze it if its those starbucks fraps that u can buy at the store. My cousin puts ice in hers..its gross cuz it waters it down..ew...


//edit//Okay I just now got what you meant. You didnt mean prepared coffee, you meant freezing the coffee ground didnt you? That is supposed to make it last longer. I never have tho.

lol oh that makes a little more sense now, Frankie. I thought you meant freezing the actual coffee. My mom used to freeze her coffee grounds, but I don't think she does that anymore.

That's true, keeping it in the freezer gives it a longer shelf life and keeps it fresh. But my parents don't do that, they just keep it in the cupboard.
But sometimes when I make coffee, I would wait for it to get to room temperature then I would freeze it in the freezer. I'd take it out and grind it all up and I have a coffee desert.
