Awkward Diet, help me stop!

I'm on the track team, so during the weekdays I don't have much time to eat a lot and I burn off ne calories I get... naturally I'm always hungry on weekdays. Then comes the weekend and I have all the time in the world, so I pig out... a lot. And I keep going until I feel like I wanna throw up. wacko.gif I know this isn't healthy and I don't know what to do to stop. Help?

Bring a snack to school, or bring 2 lunches or just buy a lotta food at school..

Eat three normal size portions throughout the day! Have little snacks, and drink water. Eat even if you're not hungry. Studies have proven that if you follow that diet, there's no need for you to be hungry throughout the day.

Make sure your diet is normal and is kept at the same routine.

Oh, and I dont think this topic belongs here.

Your routine during the week is not good, you should do something about your time so that you can fit in and actually eat atleast breakfast and lunch. There's been to many cases of people not getting enough nutrition due to loss of time.

Well you know when you're hungry, you know when you're full. Bring snacks with you to practice. Maybe its hard to maintain healthy eating habbits, but you have to have enough time to have dinner right? It's not up to me to change your habbits, it's all in yourself. When you are hungry, simply get some food. When you are full you just have to force yourself to stop because that's not good for you. It's all about your self motivation on maintaining a healthy diet.

Ahhh..I always do that when I'm on the sport teams, but all the food didn't seem to affect my running and stuff.
usually, after all that food, i just do some sit ups or whatnot.

i think you should talk to your coach about it. s/he can suggest a diet since they probably know best about it

Eat small portions of food throughout the day. Sort of like snacking, but not on like eating chips snacking. It helps you lose weight because it keeps your hunger satisfied. Start eating during lunch.

wow that's scary... just go with the daily meal by eating salad everyday... eat vegetables everyday and less sugars. and jog a lot... that helps isnt it? even though i never tried... yeah jogging works... but it makes your calves biggers...that's what i heard >.<;;; just make sure you eat vegetables like after eating junk foods. and lots of fruits.

Heyy guys thanx 4 all the help! I just wana say that I actually DO eat 3 meals everyday, it's just that for track, we run so much i'm hungry anyway. I'll try to eat more healthy snacks and stuff. For weekends, i'm still working on controlling how much I eat. But thanx so much evry1!

this kind of reminds me of bulimia... bring a snack and TRY to each three meals. eat a banana before or after track practise.

Which is why you try and limit your eating. Trust me you'll know when to stop...and i dont mean until you puke. just when you think hey this is enough ust stop. Put the food down. I promise you wont shrivel and die cool.gif

you need to eat healthy until you are full whenever you are hungry during the week. and you need to do the same during the weekends because it is not good to practically starve yourself during the week and then overeat on the weekends. =/
