I am going to change schools and to do that they are supposed to have interviews of me before they consider letting me to get in the school. I'm about to do like 5 interviews with the schools and I'm really freaked out....what do they usually ask? Is it going to be really hard? What can i do to prepare so I don't make a fool of myself when I get there?

I need help, please.

it would help if you'd let us know what kind of school you're talking about...

private/public? college? what exactly are we talking about here?

Private boarding school. (high school) like i mean, when you apply for a school they generally have interviews with you so they know...er..how you're like and stuff.

You're probably gonna want to be really enthusiastic about trying to get in. I know someone who interviews people going into college, and she told me she gives good reports to people who seem like they actually want to go to the school and seem really excited. I'm not sure if this is how it'll be for you, but try to get your point across: you really want to get in! (but not desperate, hehe laugh.gif)

Be nice and polite.
Plan in your mind what you need to say if they ask you on different things.

Think about the reasons why you're applying to the school. Tell them when they ask you the infamous question," Why are you appling to createBlog Academy?".

Be nice and poliet.

Show your interests, especially if something you expertise in is something that the school is generally known for ( Like Math, Language, etc.)

It's not hard at all. Just take a few deep breathes and everything will be alright.

Good luck! flowers.gif

what prep school? i have friends at andover and exeter, and they love it there. they're probably looking for intellectual, open-minded, easygoing, friendly people. considering that it's a boarding school, they're going to want people that can live well with others.

be really enthusiastic, as someone said above. also, interviews are usually to get to know you and your personality, so show them your "passions" and be enthusiastic about those as well. make sure you think of something about how you can benefit their school since they might ask that too, either on the application or during the interview. and finally, don't be too distant, let them really get to know you. show a sense of humor, etc. don't worry, it's not hard. :)
