alrighty im doin my second layout and im havin problems with the imagemapping it wont go on there see for yourself i'll fix the placement of the other stuff later all i need to know is how to get the image mapping to work thanks

i did....like twice......the tutorial doesnt explain how to use the image mapping.....

Okay so when you do image mapping, you first:

-Browse and look for your layout
-Find out the width and height - I check it on Paint ( Go to image and then attributes and you'll see them )
-Click Instructions (I think) to see what to do next or click Stage 2
-Pick a thingy - circle, rectangle, polygon ( once you pick, it'll tell you what to do)
-To fill in that ALT and URL thing, replace it with the xanga URL's. I use these:

Sign in
http://www.xanga.com/signin.aspx

Sign out
http://www.xanga.com/logout.aspx

Look and Feel
http://www.xanga.com/claf

Private
http://www.xanga.com/Private/home.aspx

Subscribe
http://www.xanga.com/private/SubscribeTo.aspx?user=USERNAME

Guestbook
http://www.xanga.com/guestbook.asp?user=USERNAME

Profile
http://www.xanga.com/profile.aspx?user=USERNAME

Subscriptions
http://www.xanga.com/private/subs.aspx


*Please feel free to correct/add more =D

After your done, you can hit Complete or Re-map. After you click Complete, check if you got it all right and if you didn't again re-map.

When you have finished checking, click to the next Step and copy the code. Make sure to replace your image URL at that last portion part example here:

<IMG SRC='img145' border=0 width=800 height=600 USEMAP='#imgmap'>

Replace the part where it says img145 with your layout URL.

You are finished with imagemapping and now you can do the rest! Hopefully THAT helped.
