So my friend's getting a new car and he wants suggestions. Two conditions though:
- 4-Wheel Drive
- Under $30k

He's considering the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo8 and Volvo S8 (not sure if that's the right model). Do y'all have any other suggestions?

^ I know. ): That was my first suggestion to him, but he told me it must be 4wd or his parents aren't paying for it, and that means.. no car. Hah.

He just told me he doesn't want an SUV since that's what he's getting rid of. He says he might get the evo8, but there's a clutch problem (or something) and people don't really like it. mellow.gif I'm just trying to help him out. wink.gif

Just tell him to get the Evo8, that clutch problem can be fixed for under $100 anyway

ok i did a little research on the clutch problem and this a site that might help

http://faq.f650.com/FAQs/ClutchMiscProbsFAQ.htm

Also when looking for a car here are some tips to go by:
1. See if you can find a car with under 60,000 miles (if it is a used car)
2. Carfax!! Use it!!
3. See if you can buy an extended warranty...to save drama
(these are from my friend on xanga that was giving me tips since I am looking for a car also)

she/he said he doesnt want a suv, well i mean for what u can get under 30,definately used most likely, but gettin a used sports car is risky, unless its from a dealer and still has warranty yeah

Just get anything that looks great, runs great, and saves money and gasoline then you've found the car.

Thats like the perfect car, and you really cant find that kind of car easily.

I recommend making your own car, customize it.
