AIM is just the standalone instant messenger thingy and AOL is...well AOL that also has IM.

Before I used to have all my IMs from AOL forwarded to AIM but nowadays I just keep that away message on, don't bother w/ logging on at AIM, and rely on YIM and MSN for most of my online chatting purposes. happy.gif
