*sigh* I didn't know my own sister could be so MEAN. (she's 9 btw)
This was after her soccer game: sis: OMG Hadas! Janet (4th grader) is almost as tall as you! Nick: (1st grader) but Haleli, you are taller than your sister and she's older than you! *Everyone looks at me.* I FELT SO EMARRASSED AND STUPID!  Maybe I' m just overreacting...Anyone else have this or somethign similar happen to them? Edit: I'm 13. |

hehe I'm short and I get dissed all the time....then when they're walking away I yell
"You wait until I hit Puberty!".....lol, it's ok you'll get taller. Now while you wait, just joke about your shortness...nothing to panic about but I'm a boy and I don't know if you'll feel good about laughing it off.... |

yea, it sucks being 5'8... hey, hows the wheather up there, "gosh your so tall" is what i get as a first reaction. Besides no one ever really cares about how tall you are. Only you, and all you can do is bitch and moan about it and make yourself feel bad, or you could get over it.

i'm 5' and my doctor told me this is as tall as i'll ever be. i hate the physical disabilites of being short. (seriously why do cabniets have to be so high?) but trust me, most of my friends loveee how little i am and they wish they were too. and guys love being able to have a short girl to cuddle with
 play it off like your proud of being short...even if you're not. <3

being short isn't that bad. i wouldn't know though.. i'm 14 and currently at 5'5". (not that tall..) i wish i was taller though.. i think by the time i am finished growing i should be somewhere near 5'9".. hopefully?!
 well that's what my doctor told me at least. i was always so much taller than all the guys when i was younger & got teased about it constantly. now their all pretty much taller than me.. (well most) don't listen to your sister! and as im_s0_sp0ngey said-- it's whats on the inside that counts.

Aww, it's okay. Everyone is different, and you shouldn't be judged based on your height. Besides, you're still growing, so it's possible you can have growth spurts.

im tall. sometimes it sucks but then it has some advantages. i dont think you should worry about your height. it doesnt matter really.
