you don't hate them...
 i only have one FULL sibling and it is a girl so that is all i know. but i have like 4 HALF brothers and they are all like 5 and 8 and around there so i don't really know about brothers because i don't live with them.  but i like my sister.

well, I voted brothers because tha'ts all I ahve and I love htem they're my cuddly bears
 well, okay, I'll be honest, the oldest one (18) I dont' like all that much, but he can be really nice, but my faovrite brother (16) is so nice...I always understand him and get alogn with him really well. He's the one who taught me to read the clock cause I coudlnt' understand anyone else and he relates to me in so many ways, like whenever I explain my feelings or somethign the rest of my family have no idea what I'm tlkaign about but he understands completely, and he is so great at explaining math problems to me and he's jsut soooooo nice  I mean obviusly SOMETIEMS he annoys me, but on the whole he's awesome, coudln't live without him

it all depends on what the situation is and what gender you are yourself. a brother and sister are both helpful...but they will most likely give different opinions about different subjects.
