how ancient is ancient, these 2 countries didn't have military conflicts until a time when i wouldn't call it "ancient" anymore. Japan got a lot of its things from China, this is out of discussion.

Ancient japan possesed the superor weapons and had the best warriors then Ancient China because Japanese warror are quite talented and they concertrate their fighting skills more often. they have battles w/ out a real sword but ancient china probably doesnt pratices much or never did.
