What would you do if one of your parents died?! My Mom died when i was around 12ish-13ish. I then started cutting. It really didnt help anything..it just got things worse. And sometimes I hear people say..'Oh i don't know what i would do with out mom/dad'. But what if something did happen..what would youd you do? How would you cope? I'm ok now..The topic was just on my mind.

i'm sorry you lost your mother at a young age...
may she rest in peace. well, if i lost my parents right now... i'm not sure if i'll ever be able to get over it. i'd probably isolate myself from everyone. |

I think when most ppl read what this post is about, they wouldn't wanna think about it. As for me, I'd think of my dad if my mom had died and vice versa. I'd think about how I need to contribute my effort in keeping my family together. Then, when I'm alone, I'd probably breakdown and cry.
Speaking from experience, cutting never really did any of us good. Yea we may forget for awhile, focus on our physical pain, but then when it's gone, you're back to feeling like crap again. It's a waste of time and effort and now when I think about my past actions, I think I was stupid for doing it. My life could've been worse and there are ppl whose lives are much worse. I'm rather lucky. lol just felt like rambling on... |

ehh, hi, i can kinda relate, my mother 14 years ago? or so, wow it been a long time, yeah, i here that all the time, " i dont know what iwould do with my..." alot.. its used to me now, i guess, i think of it as a part of life and everything happens for a reason, and you must stay strong, cause it happened and you cant do anything about it.

I'm sorry for your lost. I can't really relate to you, but I've imagined what life would be like without one of my parents. Even thought I say that I hate them and I wish they would just get out of my life, I can't really live without them..

well, none of my parents are dead..
but my dad has had a sickness since i was in preschool. & right now, he`s practically dead, all he does in life now is suffer. & i guess i jst get used to it? i mean, theres nothing eles to do. i dont see how cutting would solve my problems. so i jst accept reality & move on with life. |

yeah are u okay?? um.. i have never had my parents die.. but if they died i would get really bad depression... i think i would end up killing myself.. um..even though i wish they would die... ( when im in trouble) but i guess i still love them lol |

im sorry to hear about that...
 if my parents werent here my life would be really different..i would probably be living with other ppl b/c i have no other family in the US then the ppl i live with.. |
