ahh... im really sorry if this has been posting before.. but I have searched through countless threads and such and haven't found anything... I was just wondering if there was a way I could make my background/background image of my xanga transparent.... its hard because after i put in an image I can't see the words or anything...

i found this:
http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3957

but it only showed me the codes for transparent blog entries... not the background, i think... anyways... if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!

thanks!!

I've never heard of such a code that could make a body background transparent when it's behind everything else.

Perhaps editing it in a graphics program would do?

if your background image is too dark the only thing i can think of is to open your image in a photo editing program like photoshop or acdsee and reduce the opacity of your image. that will lighten the color so to speak and make it look more transparent.

i don't think you really can't because as someone had said, there is nothing behind the background, so it really wouldn't be transparent. however you could have images such as banners transparent on top of the background.
