While I have a Myspace account, I feel like adding scripts and skins for it would be betraying what cB started out as. I wouldn't vote for it, but if it ended up here anyway, I would probably use it.

YUP, they should have a section for myspace. a lot of people use myspace now, and a lot of people have been wanting better layouts. but then again, you could just go to http://www.mygen.co.uk/, which is a myspace profile generator. it's really helpful.
but a lotta people probably want something more fancy, and that's why i think cb should have a section for myspace.

Ouch... that's a hurtful threat. pinch.gif

There really isn't room for layouts on myspace. I think Tom(the guy whos in charge of myspace) made it so that you'd have a hard time. There really isn't exactly a "Look and Feel" for myspace. But it's still pretty cool. The coolest feature is that you can put a music video on. :P

I'm on the neutral side.

Pros
+ A lot of members in CB have a myspace.
+It's getting more and more popular each time
+Myspace is customizable and it's sort of becoming like Xanga where which person has the best CSS codes or who's looks the best.
-It wouldn't hurt to add layouts on here because I am curious as to what people come up with.

Cons
-There really isn't enough space for a layout to be seen unless you're dealing with colors nad not images. pinch.gif I mean with all the modules around, can you really stick a background image in there for everyone to see??
-Wasn't CB for CREATEBLOG and not for myspace???
-Unless someone has enough skills to produce a myspace similar or surpass this myspace, then maybe CB is just wasting their time.


If CB did add some layouts for myspace, then yes I would take a look at it, and even use on if it interests me, but if CB doesn't then things don't change.

Besides, isn't there at least 5 sites out there such as Mygen.co.uk to edit your profile for you??

some ppl will make bad matches of colors and backgrounds using mygen etc.
even though thed modules are around the background, myspace could have "themes" like xanga too.
