i seem to be seeing alot of these. especially at hot topic. but, i mean even in target, i see them. so, is it just a trend or something..or do people actually like the bands?

edit: i mean, because i like them, but i'm not so sure others do.. ermm.gif

if you like them then wear them, its your choice.... it could be for ppl who like the trend or the band.. maybe its a marketing strategy?

It's a trend.
I see all these preppy, giggly little girls running around in Pink Floyd shirts or Kiss shirts or Eagles shirts and I'm pretty darn sure that they haven't even heard a song of theirs.

It's so damn annoying, because I actually like a lot of old rock..

^ there are tons of people like that in my school. If you are gonna wear a goddamn beatles t-shirt, then at least listen to their music. it is a big trend..i kind of avoid wearing shirts like that specifically b/c of all those girls. sooooo annoying.

It really sucks if you like the band...and some people can't even name one song by them..

Especially if they claim that they know the band.

Yeah..I just basically repeated what Despise says, but, I agree..so..

i like old band tees. but i'll only buy them if i like the band. i've got one ramones one and i've been searching some vintage stores for an old bob marley, or the sex pistols.

led zeppelin, pink floyd, doors, sex pistols, ramones etc etc... ive always wondered if the person wearing the shirt are actual die-hard fans 'cause you know, if youd wear it on your chest, you better know them inside and out.

i have my share of bands i like but i dont think i know enough about them to wear them on my chest.

one day, im going to go up to a person and ask him/her for a full bio on each band member of their shirt.

I agree.
I'd never dream of wearing a band shirt without liking or even KNOWING the band.
It's so pathetic.
I saw this girl wearing a Kiss shirt and I asked her to name one of their songs. She couldn't. She didn't even know that they wear/wore make-up.

Hahaha i agree with both of you.

N.e ways i think people should only wear band t-shirts if they listent to the band if not then they shouldnt.

[SIZE=7]So I agree with most of you, it is very gay for those poser preps to be wearing a shirt to a band they do not even know...it's the same thing for preps to be wearing those etnies shoes and they don't even skate, but that's off the topic....It seems to me most preps are posers....Don't wear the shirt if you don't know the band.

some of the hard core rockers at my school wear them because they actually KNOW the bands and they actually LIKE them but most of the other people just wear them to be cool. wacko.gif

i had this funny/annoying incident where this girl was like "i bought this shirt yesterday, do you like it?"

me: yeah, i guess they have okay music.
girl: music?

it was funny, but it's still kinda like.. it almost makes the band seem bad because people like that wear those shirts.
