I couldn't bump my other thread back up, so I created a new one. Anyways, my xanga: Here. I like everything about it except the Calendar and Subscriptions modules on the left. I've tried everything to remove them but nothing works! I found this script:
I honestly do not think that script works. I even registered a new xanga to test out that script, but it does not work! Even looking at the example xanga corroborates my theory that something is wrong with that script. Please, someone try it out! This is really irritating me.. Why couldn't xanga be smart and just give u a checkbox as to what modules to show!? Which should theoretically remove the calendar, correct? But it does not work. I pasted it into the custom module box, html header box, website stats box, and java box. But nothing! It doesn't modify my xanga at all. I even created a brand new xanga to try out this script, but it does not work. Furthermore, looking at the example xanga for this script corroborates the fact that it no longer works. Perhaps I'm doing it wrong. Can someone please test out the script to remove the subscription and calendar modules? I want to keep the profile and blog ring modules. Thanks. |

that script is out of date. xanga's changed their code.
if (!str.match (/Profile/i) && str.match (/(Subscriptions|Posting Calendar|Get Involved!|Build Traffic!)/i) doesnt even apply to anything anymore. |
